This years ANZAC day dawn service was the first ‘dry’ one in quite a few years. The band turned out as per usual for the 6:00am dawn service at the Porirua RSA along with a huge crowd of locals. The crowds seem to be getting larger and larger each year.
Likewise the Civic Service held at the Cenotaph saw a large crowd assembled at 9:00am to watch as the Veterans, other servicemen and women and local scouts and guides paraded down the street towards the Cenotaph.
